Please post your dyno numbers along with your car's mods!

With C&L CAI/Predator, SLP PowerFlo axlebacks (auto trans, stock rear gears):

270 rwhp @ 5634 rpm
319 ft/lb tq @ 3894 rpm
Temp was 64F. A/F ratio stayed between 12.4 - 12.9 from 4100-5900rpm.
Done by JBA Racing, San Diego, CA on a Dyno Dynamics.

[There were also a couple interesting items of note.

First, they made both of these pulls in 3rd gear. It seems they couldn't keep the auto tranny from downshifting when they hit the throttle in 4th. However, during a full dyno tune session, they have a way to electronically "lock" the tranny in 4th gear.

I also asked about the correction factor for the Dyno Dynamics system they use. They said that it uses a correction system that will result in lower numbers than say a DynoJet. In fact, JBA has tested both systems. Using a test car, they made a pull on their own dyno and then immediately took it to another shop who uses a dynojet for a comparison pull. The pulls were made about 30 minutes apart, and the dynojet reported about 20 rwhp more than their own dyno.]

So what is the real numbers then? 280 horsepower or the lower numbers you have posted?

38special 7/19/05 10:19 AM

C&L 93 Octane Predater/Tune with C&L CAI

dallasw77 7/19/05 11:51 AM

270 rwhp done by K&N. Didn't see an tq numbers on the dyno sheet though :dunno:
Car is all stock.

hawgman 7/21/05 05:38 PM

299rwhp 309rwtq on a Dyno Jet. 97 degrees, humidity 14%.

Steeda CAI, C&L intake tube, Steeda UDPs, custom tune

mark221 7/21/05 06:08 PM

Stock, mine did 272hp and 292torque.

Lime-N-Dah-CocoNut 7/22/05 08:52 AM

At the time, no mods and only 1500 miles on the car..

RWHP= 261
Torque= 284

pmcarlino 7/22/05 08:20 PM

Saleen supercharger 4 psi boost.97 gegrees. There tune
362rwhp
365rwtq

frdtch05gt 7/23/05 04:09 PM

277hp and 282 torque, car is bone stock, was done on a Mustang Dyno in 90-degree heat. I'm suprised the numbers were that high, especially for an automatic.

CAL05GT 7/26/05 10:10 AM

Dyno'd mine on last Sat. on a dynojet. 91 degrees 298rwhp and 309rwtq. Mods: K&N Intake, Steeda UDP, Magnaflow HI-Flow X-Pipe, JBA axle-back, and Diablo custom tune.

MTAS 7/30/05 12:48 PM

Stock pulls are in the sig, with 700 miles on the car. I just ran it today and with JLT CAI, DTP 93 octane Predator tune, ProChamber welded to stock cats and 4.10 gears (they don't add hp/tq, but they do skew the readings), I pulled 280rwhp and 297rwtq on a Mustang Dyno.

x-wing 7/30/05 03:57 PM

I have a bullitt with C&L intake, Mass air kit, Pro Chamber H-Pipe with no cats and dyno tuned.

Rwhp 248.6 torque 294.3

mustangshadow 7/30/05 07:16 PM

I feel a little bummed out got my car dynoed today with MTAS and my best pull was a 246 and that is with a K&N and predator 87 tune

When the 05 GT first came out, rumors and nay sayers were saying that the GT couldn't be supercharged - something to do with the rings if memory serves. I went for a ride in a 456rwhp ProCharge'd 05 and HOLY SMOKES is that thing evil!!!! But fun as all get out :D

adrenalin 8/11/05 10:50 AM

Sure you can put a supercharger on a stock engine, but everyone asks the same thing, how long will it last before failing. 50,000, 100,000 miles, who knows. I'm still not ready to supercharge mine yet.

yea.. I was being a little scarcastic :-D .. if people want to wait 3-4 years to see if mine or others will blow up.. then they can... until then its fun time =-)
