Ok...so based on my signature, I have a theoretical X-plan price of $25,304. (Invoice-2%+ 4%+$150)

My mom works in a facotry where she is eligable for X=Plan & we have used it twice. And we are now looking to use it if she gets a Escape. Anywhoo. The way the X-Plan has been explained to us is that it allows the dealer to sell you the car at whatever the dealer paid. And the dealers seem to like this because they get X amount from Ford.

In fact we got like $500 knocked off my 2003 Mustang when we bought it new last year including the X-Plan. Hopefully that helps you. If not feel free to ignore me, that's what I usually do.

My price ended up being about 40 bucks over invoice using X-plan. It's a good deal.

X-plan is only $1000.00 more than a-plan. I just ordered my gt and i got it for a little over 26k. x-plan is also open now to friends and family who don`t qualify for a-plan

Can you combine plans? I know X-Plan allows good savings. Then Ford has a rebate for recent college graduates (like $400?). Since I qualify for both, I was wondering about that little gem....
In Canada, you cannot combine X-Plan with the Grad Rebate.

Check out the fine print of the grad rebate coupon, it will probably say it there.

Anyone know within what period after graduation the grad rebate is good for? I finished graduate school last year. I wonder if I'm still eligible?

I believe the Grad rebate is good for 2 years after your graduation.

And according to the fine print, you cannot use the grad rebate with the A/D/X-Plan.

I believe it is good back to May 1st of 2002 and forward to January 3rd, 2005, but it is not compatible with x-plan. The AQHA rebate is also not compatible with x-plan.

I work for CN Rail. CN Rail is a Ford Partner as such Rail employees are eligible for X Plan pricing. The PIN number that you get from Ford identifys the company the you work for. Also I had to give the same information and show some identification that I worked for CN Rail. The dealership explained to me that X plan pricing was 2% over invoice.

$27644.00 (x plan for my order) $28998.00 MSRP - Dealer.

Does the car have to be "bought" by the X-Plan member? My boyfriend gets X-Plan. Does the car have to be put into his name? Or can I still put it in mine?

It has to be in his, unless he is one of the Ford employees who can generate x-plan PINs. If he just works for a company that has a deal with Ford, or is a member of an organization that has a deal with Ford, you're out of lcuk.

Just a reminder to everyone, that if you are ~1 year out from buying, join the EAA and you're eligible for x-plan after one year. I think the yearly fee is 40 bucks. Also, if you're a veteran, look into the DAV as they offer the x-plan upon joining. The lifetime membership for the DAV isn't much. If you join either, you're supporting a good cause.
