would these keys work on the 2005 mustang? My dad has a similar key for his Expedition and it has withstood a lot more abuse than mine and looks a heck of a lot better shape than mine. mine looks like a dog chewed on it for a while.

Don't know about those keys, but my brothers 2006 Mustang keys have the hard plastic rather than the soft of the 2005's

So you might could just contact the dealership parts department and order a 2006 Mustang key for you 2005.

search on Mustang PATS key on ebay.

why pay so much when they sell for $14 regularly on ebay.

i want the older style key as they hold up much better and the blue ford logo looks better than the black rubber one

from what I've read on this forum, the older keys will work on the '05 as well.
