All I can do is smile. Had the man in that video done that to me, I would have shot him. You could certainly make a case that you feared for your safety. This is why you get a concealed carry permit (law permitting) and carry a handgun in your car, as my father does, and I used to until I moved to Kansas (which has no permit law).

I feel for you man. My mother has a '98 Corvette Pace Car, beautiful vehicle. Its a convertible and she took it shopping once and some dumped his cup of chew spit all over the interior as she had left the top down.

And not that long ago I saw some spit on a Corvette as he was leaving a store, really ticked me off because of what happened to my mother and I plan on having a nice car someday too - felt like having "words" with him.
This stuff really gets me IRATE, paying someone back is one thing, but just to screw someone's personal property up for no reason except your own anger or jealousy...........very unexceptable

I feel for you man. I found a cigerette burn on my spoiler on my 02. And I don't smoke. People like that make me wanna hurt someone. As some say, an eye for an eye. Find out who did it & return the favor. I would. Believe me, if I could find out who burnt my spoiler with their smokes, they would defiently think again before lighting it up. Because I would show them just how hazaradous smoking can be to their health.

Really man, that blows. I hope you find the sob who did it & make them pay through the nose.

About the time he hit my car like that and was dumb enough to walk in front of it he would be selling crack for 10 years from a wheel chair on that corner.

And about the car getting keyed my 94 got keyed the first day I drove it to work. Some folks just can't stand that someone else has somthing nice.

Well, I agree it is pretty sad that some people do things like that. I had my 92 Mustang hiy-and-run in a grocery store lot when I had 50 miles on the odo. I felt really bad, and hated having it taken to a shop and having some unknown guy messing with it, and driving it, and getting nails in the tires from the shop lot etc.

Well, the only advice I can offer is, keep things in perspective, you have a nice car that is fun to drive, so just enjoy it. Otherwise, the jerk that keyed your car has really won the battle. Really no sense storing a new Mustang GT in a glass bubble for the next 30 years...just get it fixed and then enjoy your new car.

As for the talk of revenge, etc., writing stuff on the internet is alot different than actually confronting scum in real life. Most likely they have no real goals, and reason for obeying the law and going to jail and getting fined would not really matter to them. Whereas I am figuring you to have a good life ahead of you, wife, kids, whatever - it would be dumb to jeopardize that over a scratched car.

Hope nobody takes my post the wrong way, I just wanted to give my perspective. Just realized, age may play a factor, I turned 39 last month and have a wife and two kids, and have new priorites which help me shrug off road-ragers and the like. As I think back to my mid 20's with my new 92 Mustang, I was much more upset...

Hope all goes well!!!

I am seeing red for you, I could not even imagine! Hope the damage is quickly and easily repaired, and the scum culprit gets what is coming to him, sooner rather than later.

Man you are a nut on the loose. Kill someone over a car? I am completely overwhelmed by your statement. I too am saddened by his loss like everyone else here but we have the maturity to deal with it in a lawful manner. NUFF SAID

First, you must be a liberal. Second, someone bashing your car with a wrench is not only a threat to your property, but a threat to your person. Third, I am not ashamed at all to admit I value my property over the life of a loser like that. And by the way, I am certain that in most states, someone bashing your car with a blunt instrument would be grounds to use deadly force. After all, a crazed lunatic could certainly hurt you seriously with such an object.

It's crazy out there! My wife got flipped the bird today driving my stang' just driving normally minding her own business. I told her if that kind of thing happins again just ignore it! I just heard on the radio yesterday that a guy was getting tailgated on the freeway and he lightly tapped his brakes to get the other guy off his rear! The guy pulled around to the side and shot him!

Be Careful out There!

KC

P.S. Sorry bout your Stang!

Exactly why every state in the union should enact "concealed carry" laws. Put a couple of well placed hollow points where they belong and that sort of BS would come to a halt.

Smile

:bang:

That is really too bad. I'm sorry to hear this. What would make me more mad than anything is not so much the scratch (though I would be PISSED), but the fact that someone would actually do something like this on purpose. Just don't understand.....

I usually try to park away from all cars in parking lots, but with idiots like this, it doesn't even matter.....getting a scratch or dent by an accident is one thing.....getting something done on purpose.....I can't even understand.....

Hey, were do you work? -- (if you don't mind sharing).

BTW. I stupidly took my stang to an auto car wash for the very first time a few weeks ago. It was way too cold out to wash by hand and I wanted to get the salt off the car before I stored it for a few weeks. Well, when I got done with the wash I took my towel and was finishing the drying and noticed that I had huge noticeable scratches on the driver side rear fender and near the bumper. I definitely would have noticed it before, and I am certain that the car wash did it. I spoke to the manager right then and explained what happened....of course he kept saying that his car wash wouldn't do this to cars and that they perform daily quality and assurance checks of the car wash before they open each day......what?!?! How in the world do they do this? Drive a car through it and check to see if there are any scratches??? Yeah right....especially everyday??? Right. He also said that they are not responsible for personal damage....figures.

Anyway, I need to figure out how to get the scratches repaired. I took it to my dealership and the quote to fix the car was $520.00 est. I guess they have to sand blast the entire rear panel and paint it again...the scratches were that deep. I don't think my insurance will cover something like this, but I guess I should call and at least ask.

So I feel your pain a little. It all just really stinks!!

I vote to shoot and kill him for sure, you would absolutely get away with it, plus you would be doing the whole world a favor. I think we should start a poll!
