I went in like at very least a month ago (like the first days of "preorderings") and put down a deposit on my mustang because I wanted to make sure to secure my place in line since my dealer (and I think most dealers) wasn't doing the actual pre-orders yet. So I put down the deposit and told me they'd call me as soon as I could come in and place the actual order. At the time I was a little worried because he said there were 7 or so ahead of me.

So a lot of time went by and I got to thinking maybe I went to the wrong dealership until about 10 minuets ago the dealer called me. He's asked if I cuold come in and place the order on Monday and I said of course. Then he was about to leave and I was like wait, one more thing, can you tell me how many actual orders there are in front of me. He saaid there was only one (score!) and that the guy in front of me was "ordering the car almost exactly the same" and i froze "except in silver" *sighofrelief*. "Yea I just wanted to make sure I got your order since you're the second one...because we're only getting 3"

 

Congrats ! Bet you were sweating it out until the end. Its nice to hear a story where patience is rewarded.

 

Oh yea! every day i was like, "when will they call!!?!?" but decided to go ahead and wait. I'm at ease now.

 

You have more patience then I would have. I have a hard time waiting for ANYTHING. I'd have probably bugged them so much by now, I'd have been 4th in line, with 3 cars coming.
