Woodview Dash Kit

I have been looking to upgrade the stock dash kit. I saw this woodview kit and it looks pretty good. Anyone installed one of these and could you post some pictures? This site prices the whole 17-piece kit for $199, any one know any cheaper sites?

Check this kit out from an eBay vendor. The quality of the kit is really good.

might have to paste together the url!

I have this kit right now, but not installed. I purchased it, but then changed my mind, so I now have it sitting here.

Looks cool, but anyone know of a place to get actual replacement panels? I don't want to put stickers on mine, in case I want to sell my car later.

krnpimpsta, Expect to pay over $1000 if you want the real deal. Just the passenger air bag module alone costs around $800 to $900.

You are better off with the stick on dash.

Be careful, that kit looks like the pieces have a clearcoat on them. They are going to be very shiney, while the woodview kit looks to be the same one I have, which is more of an aluminum-like finish. I mean, for $99 you could always just try to resell it if you didn't like it. That's just what it looks like to me.

I have the Woodview 3D Molded dash kit in my car and the quality is FANTASTIC! It is a heavy material with an excellent finish sticks and fits perfectly! I show my car all the time and have gotten nothing but positive comments about the dash kit. I got chrome which they don't advertise but is available through their distributers. Trust me, you don't want to buy a cheap dash kit. I get people ask me about my dash kit all the time at shows and tell me horror stories about the cheap dash kit they bought that was paper thin with a cheap finish or didn't fit well. -Joe

Looks good. If I ever get a dash kit, it will definately be a carbon fiber pattern.

Anyone know how permenant these are? As in, is there any way to completely remove them?

I think it uses the 3M tape , its strong stuff it is not easy to remove but if you wanted to it is possible.

I'll get a pic with more light and post it. Although they don't advertise it, if you go to Woodcorp's web site any of their distributers can sell the 3D Molded kit in chrome finish. You just have to call and speccial order it since it won't be listed. The price doesn't change. I was going to post a link to their site for you but either their web site is down or they are gone. The company name is Woodcorp and the kit is the Woodview 3D Molded. The steering wheel accents do not come as part of the kit and can be ordered separately.

Now the warning. Although the chrome looks nice, it can be quite annoying while driving in bright sunlight. It's like looking at the sun through a mirror and the sun seems to always find some chrome to reflect off. It does look nice though. -Joe
