I'm no expert in glass repair or anything, but I see small spot on the lower portion of my windshield, so low that it's in the black area right before the bottom of the windshield. In this spot is a series of extremely fine cracks that are very close together, maybe a millimeter or so apart. The area is about 2.5 inches in length and the cracks measure about 1/3 to half an inch long.

I checked the boards and saw a couple others had stress cracks. Is my description what they are supposed to look like? Again, it is a series of extremely fine cracks very close together. They are located towards the very bottom of the drivers side, almost over the VIN #. They do not start from the very bottom of the windowshield. The series of cracks is not in a straight line but in a very shallow arc.

If anyone can help me figure out if they're stress cracks, it'd be greatly appreciated. The dealerships I called up all said they had to have a "service manager" check it out. I really don't trust the dealerships, so I was hoping some of you could give me something to back up my suspicions.

My bad luck streak continues. The car is cursed, I tell you.
