Arrow windows fogging up on my 07 GT for some reason

Ok, here is the deal. My car isn't driven every day and I have noticed the last couple of day that the windows have fogged up some what. Also my wife cleand the windows and has noticed between weekly wipedowns of the windows they get dirty fast for some odd reason. Any idea if I may have a problem or is this a common problem with the newer stangs?

Thanks,
TASSY5

How new is your car? My car is about 2 months old and the windows fog up constantly (not as much as the first few weeks now... but still fogs). In my case, it's because it's new and the plastics/etc are settling chemically, while releasing some sort of plastic vapor that coats all surfaces.

If you still have the new car smell, then that's probably it. Most of the new car smell is actually this plastic vapor.

When I bought my Jetta brand new the windows never fogged up. My friend has been through five 5.0's and has a 06 GT. All these cars usually have an issue with the windows fogging up for some reason. I've been through a few Caviliers and Saturns with the same thing. I guess it's the way the car is made.

stop getting it on with your wife in the back seat!

And I commend you on making her clean it!

If it's fogging up with the HVAC on, make sure that it's not in the recirculate position. If it is, you're recycling the air inside the car and not drawing in fresh air from outside.

Have you left the (recirculation button) On? Turn it off.

Vingar and water will cut the chemical coating on the window.

That's what I have heard and vinagar and water will take care of it. I'll have to try it.
