Who uses ramps to work under their car?

Rhino ramps, but can't drive right up on them... need boards to flatten out the incline or the bumper hits the ramp before the wheels do. In all fairness I have to drive it on boards to get a regular jack under the K-member too. I put the ramps under the tires for extra safety even if on stands.
I use them for my Legacy's oil changes because that will clear easily. Truck i just crawl under.

I use home made deck wood ramps. They're 2x10's cut at a 45degree angle and stacked 4 high with 18" in between each step. Makes it very secure and easy to drive the car onto them even with a 1" drop on my 2011 GT. They may be heavier, but i store them outside, so they won't rust.

I definitely recommend it using ramps
Who uses ramps to work under their car? I have a new exhaust system to install and want to get some ramps to raise the back end of the car. Who uses them, what brand, and where did you get them from? I saw a nice plastic set at Autozone, I’m just worried that I won’t have enough clearance to drive the back wheels up onto the ramp.

I think using ramps is a lot better than jacking the car up. In my opinion just for the fact that I feel safer being under the car when I have my car on the ramps rather than when I have it jacked up. There has been a couple times when I had the car jacked up and a jack stand lifting up the car and the one time I was replacing my starter and the bolts were really tight and the car fell off the jack when I tried to put some muscle into it to loosen them and where I had it jacked up at the stand was not high enough when I tried to adjust it was either too high or too low so it wasn't actually making contact and when the Jack fell it hit the jack stand and it tipped on side. Luckily the car didn't land all the way on me but it was on top of me enough to where I felt paralyzed from the pressure on top of me I couldn't move at all. And that's another reason too I don't like working on my car without having somebody with me. Because I would have been stuck under there my brother was out there with me and I tease him still because when it fell he screamed like a little girl LOL. He hurried up and jacked it back up so I could get out but like I said if he wasn't there who knows if anybody would have heard me yelling.
