Yeah... But mine is slated for the next day. Check the SIG. I hope the line workers don't party too hard friday night.

 

Assigned build weeks have been running 3-4 weeks out based on discussions I have seen on the forum. Delivery could take 2-3 more weeks. So 8 weeks is a pretty good estimate. That assumes that you were serialized yesterday. If it was serialized last week or the week before then 4-5 weeks would be a good guess. Do you have your build week yet?

 

No, I just called the 800 number and the status is still "serialized", waiting for build week and ETA. Out of this dealership, the build weeks were about 40 days after ordering (on an average). I honestly, at this point, don't care when it's built!!! I'M GETTING AN 05 MUSTANG! I feel fortunate, and I feel REALLY bad for those that do not run with the same luck as of yet.
If it wasn't an 05, I was not gonna be able to do an 06, price increase and other responsibilities along the way.
I'll post monday to see if I have a build week or not! Ya'l have a great weekend! Hopefully Ford pulls tons of orders in the next couple of weeks so everyone at TMS can get what they ordered.

Congrats, Through the whole thing I have been pretty calm. Not to take it out on you man but, this stinks.

You will most likely get your build date by monday. The monday after I was pulled, 4/24, RL said I was "scheduled to be built the week of 5/23". But, check back every couple of days after that. I called again on wednesday and she had changed it to 5/16.
Today, I was changed to "as of 5/17, your unit is locked into production the week of 5/16"

What dealer in NOVA did you order from? I ordered from Cowles Ford in Woodbridge. NEVER again! They have already tried to squeeze me for an MSRP increase, then just played dumb when I told them my order was price protected. I told them do what I did..............call Ford and they would explain it to them how it works. THey came back and said nevermind, it was their mistake. Now they can't even tell me where my car is. It supposedly shipped on 5/2, but they can't give me an ETA. THey said it would be here "any day now".

:angry: Cowles what a bunch of A@#holz! I went there when I was looking around. I bought a Taurus from them two years ago and the process was "relatively" smooth, so I figured I'd give them a chance. They had two GT's on the lot, one was already sold and the other had a big ol' sign next to the sticker that said "Additional Dealer Markup $2000... Non-negotiable!" I could just picture some slime-ball sales manager with his jelled-out hair and cheap cologne proudly making that sign with his big blue marker. The thought just about made me hurl. Just then, one of the salesmen struts over and starts to give me the song and dance about what a nice car it was. I said "Not at that price" and walked on out. I went to Sheehy in Springfield, but they told me they were out of allotments, so I ordered from Sheehy in Marlowe Heights, MD for $200 under MSRP (I couldn't find anyone willing to do an x-plan order for me). This will be my second purchase from Sheehy. I guess they are my "regular" dealer from now on. I don't know what's gotten into Cowles. Maybe they are trying to pay for that fancy new building of theirs.

If you call late friday or saturday ERL should have a build week assigned. That is what happened with mine.

 

Pulled for the week of May 30th!!! I'll be checking every couple of days, if it's pulled for the week of the 23rd, that's gonna be GREAT! I have a trip middle of june, and I would love to take the new car and not the old one (no AC in Florida!??! Driving like that for 4 years now... )

 

I was serialized last week and I have been given a build week of May 23rd!!!
