Put in my order and deposit today for an 05 GT Premium manual in Sonic Blue with DC int, ISA, anti theft and spoiler delete.

They didn't have any GTs on the lot, but they did have a Roush GT in Red with white stripes. I think the only real mod was an exhaust, my salesman let me start it up and rev it, it sounded amazing!

Anyway, add me to the list of future GT owners, it'll be interesting to have a japanese sports car and a good old American sports car in the same garage.

Salesman said it would be about 2 months. He told me this morning they had a GT coming in today that took just under 2 months from order to delivery.

I'm suprised that people are actually placing orders as of now! I mean, are there a lot of dealers that have allocations left? That's amazing...

Nah, Mazdas are more or less a Ford product anyway. Nothing wrong with an RX-7 though. Any performance mods to it?

Why do you say that? The order was an unserialized order that another buyer backed out of, so the dealer is modifying it to my options. They said they have 2 other allocations left for GTs.

Not a lot of power adders, just a downpipe and that's more reliability anyway (stock pre-cat tends to clog and hold heat in the engine)

Other than that, just springs, ss brake lines, hawk brake pads, and a roll bar and harnesses.

Because there are 13,000 orders that Ford is not going to be able to fill this year.

'05s, the order bank for '06 MY hasn't opened yet. But orders are still filled at the dealership level, so if your dealership has the allocation to fill your order. You will get your car. Just check to see how many allocations they have left for '05 Mustang GTs and then see how many orders are ahead of you. This should help you determine if you will get your order filled on this MY.

Ok, maybe I'll call my salesman later, but he told me saturday that they had 2 other allocations left, I'm not sure how many people are ahead of me though I'll have to ask.
