I ordered back on 1/22 and my order was finally pulled yesterday (I'm in St. Louis). The ERL changed her tone today and it was a pleasant surprise. I ordered an MG GT with IUP, ICAP, Active-Anti Theft, Side Air bags, Auto, Wheel Locks. I can't wait for this to come in! Is average arrival time from being pulled about 4-6 weeks?

I'm of the opinion that there is no average to all of this madness of trying to get one of these cars.

I got pulled this week. Ordered on 3/28/05, got serialized TODAY... I have a problem though, I called my dealer, and the sales person that took care of my order no longer works there, any of you see a problem with that? (I ordered X-plan, I can't afford to have them mess with the price).

I would get all of my documentation and head right over there and speak to the Sales manager. Hopefully you have a signed order acknowledgement or bill of sale signed by a manager.
For those of you who have not ordered yet or have an order in the system, make sure you have a signed order by a manager. If not the dealer can tell you that there is no binding order [not saying they will as there are a lot of reputable dealers]. ALWAYS get it in writing, signed by someone with the authority to bind the dealership.

I am still awaiting a pull on mine. Ordered 3-25-05. I know I havent waited long compared to others but I see two of you in this thread ordered near the same time I did and you are both pulled. I am getting nervous as now my salesman is saying mine is next to get pulled of what he has on order but he is saying he doesnt know if it will happen or not. He hopes to have news by next week. I had an oppurtunity to get one from another local dealer 2 weeks ago. The salesguy called me, as I had spoke to him in the past, and said he had a customer cancel a car and he offered it to me at MSRP, which is what I was paying from the other guy. He swore his was getting made within a few weeks and I needed to make any changes I wanted then. I passed it up because I felt obligated to the dealer I placed it with who promised me Id get mine. Now Im not so sure.

I'm a few steps beyond getting pulled... I got the "Locked in for Production" message this week. Funny thing is that ERL believes today is the 18th and I'm locked for the 16th.

Actually when ERL switches into the future as in "As of May 18th your unit is locked in to be produced week of May 16th", this seems to indicate the actual day the car will be produced and roll off the line.

I just talked to the guy that has my order now. He seems nice, even knew my last name before I told him. I'm glad to see that the dealer is not playing dumb. I got a fax with my VOP, my signature, my name on the order, and my VIN number! I can't believe it only took 38 days to get serialized! (my priority when the order was placed was 40).

I know, I was thinking mine was gonna take a lot longer. I read what everyone is going through and I still can't believe that it might be here that quickly. I guess I lucked out with the dealership I went to (I later found out is the highest selling mustang dealer in the Central Florida area, although is not the biggest). The dealer had originally told me 15 weeks before it comes in, but I'm at week 6 and hopefully it will only be another 4 before it gets here.... I shall call him, the WHITE BEAST...

I don't know yet. ERL doesn't have a date for me yet and my dealer hasn't called yet. I planned on calling him this afternoon to find out if they know anything more than I do. What is your build date/week?

I don't know yet, salesperson sent VIN number via fax, but he said in a voicemail that it might be 8 weeks before I see my car, I think it should be around 4-5... that's what I've been seen around here with other people...

If this is the case my car will be built on a Wednesday... Glad it won't be a Monday/Friday car.

Ordered 4/15, serialized 5/5. 21 days! I'm almost ashamed.

I spoke to my salesman this afternoon again. He said they plan on calling the rep a week from this coming Tuesday and by then he should know whether mine will or will not get built. Why a week from this tuesday and not right F'n now is beyond me so now I just wait.
