I've noticed that when accelerating my GT I hear it make this whistle kind of sound almost like some of those cars with superchargers do. In fact my friend that happened to drive by me on the road one day asked me if I had one because he heard the whistle from outside. Is this normal?

Lol and by the way, will the '06 pony package grille fit the GT? I totally want to get that grille for my car!

I get that mostly from girls ...while in the mustang....

 

It's normal. I have it on my car. I noticed it when I left the dealership.
I think is kinda cool.

 

Add long tubes, an off road midpipe, and Loud Mouths or Magnapacks...

Should make that sound go away.

My Explorer, V6, makes the whistling sound during acceleration also.
