hey any reason why it couldn't find my vin when i call the ford hotline they have it in the records

What is MS&S and MP&L?

How long does it take between when one of these dates are determined and when the dealer can look up the info? Is the info communicated to the dealers quickly?

Example... My Production week was determined on 10/19/04. When will my dealer be able to tell me what week that will be? I just called him and he says that he finds out when the Sales Manager provides him info. So far "he says" he has no idea what week the car is going to be built.

One more thing... Thanks for looking this up, but how are you able to do so? Are you a dealer?

Tomorrow morning I will take the additional requests and run the VIN's and then I will do it again for any additional ones after that in the afternoon...and that's all I can do for now - sorry. So get your VIN's in by tomorrow!

Unfortunatly, unless you are a Ford employee you cannot access the website (for those that asked). It's owned and controlled by the Vehicle Ordering and Processing Center division of Ford. Technically, the same information that I am able to obtain is the same information that the Ford Customer Service division can get and tell you on the phone, so if want to call the 800 number and talk to them, that is another option. I don't know exactly how up to date this information is or when they update the databases, so I do not know how long it takes to get the updated info from Frod to the dealerships -- as you know they don't have this type of info. The dealerships are always in the dark!!
