Thinking about changing my own, and was just curious how you do-it-yourselfers jack the car up. I haven't checked the on board jack, but I'm wondering if this is even a good idea with the height I'd have to jack the car for an oil change.....or even if I might scar up the rocker by doing so. What do you people use for the easiest/safest method of getting the 'Stang in the air? Thanks.....

Rhino ramps from your local auto parts store or some wal-marts carry them. Run ya around 30+ dollars for the pair.

Place a 2' long 2x10 in front of each front tire, drive up on them. Put the cup of the floor jack dead center on the K-member (just in front of the oil pan hump) and jack 'er up. Place jack stands at the front of the front sub-frame.

If your Mustang isn't lowered and you don't have a spoiler (CDC Classic, etc), you should be able to drive it up on the Rhino Ramps.
If lowered, you probably won't make it (like me). Options at this point will be to place some 2x4 pieces of wood at the foot of the ramp to decrease the approach angle, or jack it up like Dave sugggested.

Here's a quick 'How-To' if this is your first oil change.
