What is your most memorable moment? Must have a picture

Probably the most memorable cruise thus far. This was the last time a friend of ours(silver SN-95 next to mine at the left of the pic) would be with us before he was in a tragic car accident and passed away.

Then there was the day I discovered I started a trend, which has only grown since then to about 4 purple stripes Mustangs city-wide.
Oh well, can't keep everything to myself.
Probably for me the most memorable moment besides attending the 30th International Mustang Meet in Billings was driving through the Beartooth Mountain highway from Red Lodge Montana to Yellowstone Park. That highway is very curvy with speeds down to 20mph. The highest point on the highway is over 11,000 feet above sea level. I couldn't get the girlfried to look out the passenger window. The highway is just wide enough for two vehicles to pass each other. The Beartooth Highway in Montana is pretty good but in Wyoming the road is pretty bad with a mixture of broken pavement and loose gravel. When I paid the park fee to get into Yellowstone I was tempted to give the ranger a few extra bucks to go towards the Wyoming Beartooth Mountain Paving Project. If you have a mustang with a low skirt this is not the road to take. http://picasaweb.google.ca/poldrv/Be...ObNysn236vz-QE

First Mustang, purchased at Pittsboro Ford, NC. Here she is with 50 miles....

Two weeks later, after Pittsboro Ford attempted to fix a small pea sized chip in the paint....

After the nightmare was "corrected"......

Very Happy!

Took my granddaughter to Ubly Dragway for a test and tune session and she got to ride along in the passenger seat. She was thrilled and has been asking to go racing the last couple of years - so our daughter finally agreed to let her go.

most 'memorable' I can only wish I had a pic of...after the wife had her heart attack/bypass, she couldnt drive for a while/my mom came to help with the baby for a month or so...Mom always wanted 'to go down the track just once' , I'd heard that since I was a kid...
Well, the wifes a pretty good sport- she tells my mom she can take her mustang(same car she swore would never go to the track) a couple days before mom had to head back to Colorado...
test/tune night my 11 yr old sons riding with grandma in the wifes V6 Mustang, I got the other kids in my gt (wife and baby watched from the sidelines- camera battery was dead...). Told mom I'd give her a 2 second headstart to keep it interesting.
I stage(shouldnt have), Mom rolls forward(can see my sons hands waving wildly- can just hear him telling her what to do) she rolls slowly thru the lights- the tree comes down, we both sit there...folks are laughing.
The track guy signals her to back up(I back out of the lights in case she overshoots again), he uses hand signals to inch her towards the lights... shes staged finally- folks are still laughing...I stage, the tree comes down, of course on green she goes- but I sit there, stilll laughing...one thousand one, one thousand two- by then the track guy is looking at me with his hands in the 'WTF?' signal as I finally go- I catch up right at the lights, in the other lane can see my sons hands in the air pounding (can just see him screaming 'go grandma go'...), the other kids are screaming "go, go, go"- then "who won?"
we get the tickets, was slow as molasses, it was like in the low 16's- but the neat part was she beat me by a scant .04 seconds, went back around, lots of folks laughing, saying how cool it was- even if it looked like a three stooges routine...Mom still laughs about that evening(keeps her timeslip in her purse), we all had a great night there...even the baby seemed to like all the racket
