What would you do.....4k to spend
I would triple ditto that
Dont' spend all $4k on this, save up for that s/c for later, but you may find that the little stuff is enough for you.
After all those little performance boosts the car will already be alot different and preety powerful. I say do some little things make the car exactly what u want it to look like.
How about a Turbo kit and tint...why wait? All for under $4K!!!

Thanks you'll for responding and giving me some information to think about. Just what I was looking for.
I like the idea of adding only a few mods for now and saving more money to add a SC later on. The only thing I'm afraid for is that once I decide to add a SC it will bring all kinds of extra costs with it for parts to accomodate the SC. And before I know it will cost $8k instead of $5k.
Do you guys think it will be a waste of money doing all the small mods (as discribed in the original thread) now and start saving money for a SC? And once I have the money for a SC+installation (for example a year from now) to do away (sell) with the mods a SC can't use.

Gerrit,
It somewhat depends on what you want to do with the car too. Is going fast your primary use for the vehicle?
My thought was to do external mods (CAI/tune, paint, wheels, do-dads, ect..) first and as my warranty got closer to the end, then apply a S/C. I get a kick out of going to shows and visiting with other Mustang nuts like me
. Since I'm a geeser (44), I have found that turning heads as I drive by is more important than turning the fastest ET. This is my daily driver and I get plenty of enjoyment out of just rolling down the road in something that looks unique.
So, IMO, It is all in what YOU want to use and do with your ride that is important!
Good Luck!
