I'd add machine guns and a rocket launcher!

I took it to mean what you wanted different, guess it could mean either. As far as the car I got, I ordered it so it was just as I wanted it. Only the 4+ month wait was unwanted.

Are the racing stripes from the factory painted on? They are a $395 option if you build a Mustang on Fords website, so I'm assuming they are not painted on.

Wish I would have gotten stripes and NAV on my car, but otherwise I'm pretty happy with it.

I believe you are right. What I meant to say was I may regret having the dealer install the vinyl stripes vs. going to a paint shop and having them sprayed and clearcoated. It would have been a lot more money but I plan to keep this car a long time.

+1 And dapmustang's "Payment Delete".

The '05 could have used forged wheels and wider tires from the Factory, a stronger Shifter (these items have already been upgradded) and along with those eight cylinders, the engine was indeed missing the Upper Plenum Delete Kit.

i think i would have gotten one with two fewer wheels, six fewer cylinders (or 4 fewer depending on the model) made in japan, and includes a bigger smile on my face. but no biggie, i still love the running horse.

How could you compare a stang to a bike?

They only run to the edge of the hood and the to rear edge of the decklid, and have the same gaps around the window edges the GT500's have

umm - where did i trash your love of 2 wheels? besides - getting back to the topic would not have included saying youd rather have a bike than the mustang.

and thats part of the reason i havent done it i am liking the clean looks of the car. it seems like some of the roush scoops dont have the problems of the fords (at least the ones i saw at the local dealership)

makes you wonder if their fix includes a heat gun and a lot of trial/error
