Octavio. I would also like to know, how secure your fuel rails are as well.

For Charlie. definitely brings up, a very important point.

I assume this pertains to moving the nuts that hold the cover to the rails? And again that is all fine

BMR's instructions state to lower the plenum cover as well, but on the bottom it states:

This product is an aftermarket accessory and not designed by the manufacturer for use on this vehicle. As such,
buyer assumes all risk of any damage caused to the vehicle/person during installation or use of this product.

In the event the plenum cover feet crack under stress (keep in mind they were never intended to be held under compression by a stud - the 07 GTs that came with them simply slipped over the stud), the fuel rail can become loose at the rear.

He is 101% correct - No need to over tighten the plenum cover after lowering it. I find that hand tight plus 1/4 turn witht he sock is plenty.

Steeda Strut Tower Brace

On my 06 GT with a 2.6 KB the Steeda Strut Tower brace cleared the blower but it hit the CAI. (Solution!) Lower the engine using JDM modified Prothane engine mounts. Now all is cozy in the engine bay see... It looks like it touchs the CAI but there's actually a 1/2 gap.

Anybody have a 2008 gt with a strut tower brace that fits with the plenum cover? I tried the $300.00 Steeda that they say clears the blower on a gt500. Missed by a country mile, just tried the Granatelli double SS.not even close. I had lowered the plenum cover and even removed it still did not clear.Mine is a Cal special. Is it possible there is a change in the intake height, or the motor mounts? If anybody has a Ford connection see if you can find out .Also both of these bars are absolutly well made and the finish on the Granatelli is perfect I would recommend either as long as they fit.
