Where to begin on mine?
4.0L V6 upgraded from 210HP to 380HP courtesy of Xcharger Xtreme Front end slightly reworked from stock '05 V6: http://photos.torchvert.net/Hellboy-...aola-065-L.jpg Back end also slightly modified: http://photos.torchvert.net/Hellboy-...2011-025-L.jpg A few tweaks under the hood: http://photos.torchvert.net/Car-Show...Show-083-L.jpg A fairly unique thing even for cars with the Saleen PJ/Gurney/Heritage rear bumper added, is that I did the matching two tone rockers as well: http://photos.torchvert.net/Hellboy-...2011-073-L.jpg And inside: http://photos.torchvert.net/Hellboy-...0519-019-L.jpg Not quite done, but even a six speed going in: http://photos.torchvert.net/Hellboy-...3112-004-L.jpg Oh, and it's a 2005 in mint condition with 60K of fun on the odometer (alright, the underside isn't exactly mint, but this pony roams) ;) All mod work (except a bit of paint) done by yours truly (no wonder I feel sorta tired) |

Attachment 116297 My Mustang is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My Mustang, without me, is useless. Without my Mustang, I am useless. I must drive my Mustang fast. I must drive faster than my enemy who is trying to beat me. I must beat him before he beats me. I will... Attachment 116298 My Mustang and myself know that what counts in this race is not the tires we blister, the noise of our pipes, or the smoke we make. We know that it is the wins that count. We will win... My Mustang is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its shifts, and its engine. I will keep my Mustang clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will... Attachment 116299 Before God, I swear this creed. My Mustang and myself are the defenders of my forum. We are the masters of our enemy. From the start of modding this car, I always looked for unique parts that started with the E-force. I did one of the first non-shop installs as this was pre-ordered in late Dec. '08 (s/n 007)
Attachment 207195 Followed by a Foose hood. Attachment 207196 And this rear Attachment 207197 Along with the list of other parts in my sig. As with Torch_vert, everything except the paint and tuning was self installed. |

OK, well I've only seen one other person steal my idea and paint the 'teeth' in the lower grille insert. My hood, by Dream Car Factory, is very rare, and to top it off, I hand cut the louvers in the hood. I've also never seen another Mustang w/ the 20" Black Chrome Bullitt Motorsport wheels.

Wow dude. That's sh*ts cray.

My car started as an '06 GT.
I began small with a C&L CAI and a tune from Brenspeed. I hooked up with Chicane sport tuning in Torrance about two weeks after I took delivery of the Mustang. After a lot of research and visiting several shops I knew that Joe Gosinski was the kind of person I could trust with my car. Over two years we became friends and I often went down to the shop and just hung out for the day and sometimes lent a hand with projects. Joe and I came up with a concept for my car slowly. It started with a CDC ducktail spoiler. After that I knew I wanted to make my car different from the rest so I looked at several body kits and finally decided on the Street Scene kit. I felt it looked relatively stock and gave the car just a little something extra. Then we started looking at wheels. And finally came up with the Ford GT wheel. I picked the Stoptech brakes Joe thought the Brembo's were a better choice but we didn't always agree on everything :) I liked the Stoptech because it was used on the Roush and Saleen Mustangs and thought it was a better fit than the Brembos... in any case there you have it. Soon after I added a Saleen aluminum hood. We looked at other aftermarket hoods, but I wanted to stay away from fiberglass. After the hood I knew I needed more power so Joe and I decided on the Saleen supercharger. After he put the blower in, the car was a whole new beast. My car stayed that way for a long while, actually for the rest of the time I lived in Los Angeles. Then I moved to Texas and after trying to get Joe to have some Chicane badges made up he finally did it about a year later and sent me a badge in the mail, which was a really nice surprise. Not long after that I got greedy and upped the boost on my car. Two weeks later I fried the clutch and three clutches later I bent a valve and that was that. I found a good deal on a GT500 engine and pulled the trigger. What came next was a complete GT500 drivetrain... exhaust, 6-speed transmission, etc. I also replaced the factory seats with GT500 seats, replaced the gauges with the GT500 gauges and also replaced the steering wheel with the GT500 steering wheel and added the 2012 GT500 PP suspension. Shortly after my GT's transformation with the GT500 drivetrain, my friend Joe was killed in his shop on Christmas eve. I never got to show him my car with the new engine. I never got to talk to him about what might come next. I can't call him to say "hi" anymore, and whoever killed him is still out there unpunished for his murder. I'm now waiting for my new TVS supercharger to arrive back from polishing to install. I'm also going to be adding custom sill plates that denote the car as a Chicane-built car. It will have Joe's Chicane logo and my name next to his emblem... I think he would like that. Here are some pictures of the car from start to finish. And here is his reward fund if anyone would like to donate to help find his killer. http://bcmcmustang.homestead.com/SC4.html http://www.samjam.com/Mustang_X/1stPenny.jpg http://www.samjam.com/Mustang_X/PennyNew.jpg http://www.samjam.com/Mustang_X/Penny_Z_Side.jpg http://www.samjam.com/Mustang_X/Penny_Wheels_1.jpg http://www.samjam.com/Mustang_X/Penn...ch_001_SE2.jpg http://www.samjam.com/Mustang_X/PennyStoptech_WEd2.jpg http://www.samjam.com/Mustang_X/SaleenInstall%20004.jpg http://www.samjam.com/Mustang_X/Stripe_Pic.jpg http://www.samjam.com/Mustang_X/PennyG_Engine.jpg http://www.samjam.com/Mustang_X/PennyGEngine2.jpg http://www.samjam.com/Mustang_X/PennyGEngine3.jpg http://www.samjam.com/Mustang_X/PennySeats.jpg http://www.samjam.com/Mustang_X/PennyGShift.jpg http://www.samjam.com/Mustang_X/PennyGauges.jpg |

I was a big fan of this ride at the cruise myself (you can't ever really go wrong with Screamin' Yellow and black trim, and the wheels are just perfect :nice: ) http://photos.torchvert.net/Car-Show...Cruise-046.jpg |
I think the most unique thing about mine is that its the only one Ive seen where you can roll the windows down with the remote and roll them up and down with the key in the door lock. Second to that is my A3R side stripes and shift ball.

And here is his reward fund if anyone would like to donate to help find his killer. http://bcmcmustang.homestead.com/SC4.html Btw great thread. Some really awesome cars on here |

Great story and great car. I've always wondered about that kind of wheels. Are they actually from a ford gt? And if so are they available in 20"? If not are they the gt4 wheel?
Btw great thread. Some really awesome cars on here They are from a Ford GT. They are available in a 19" but the offset and width are too wide for the mustang. It may be possible to fit a 19 by modifying the suspension or rolling the fenders, but I'm not sure. There are other manufacturers that make a replica wheel that may have what you're looking for, but the weight will likely be higher since they may or may not be forged. |

& how expensive are tires for 18s?? I really wanna upgrade to some. They are 18x9 I think the last time I bought tires it was about 200 bucks or so a tire, but it's been a while so I'm not positive on the price. |
I've always been a fan of black wheels but I definitely think I'd rock some of those!

Yeah u got it right. Alright here goes...again, lol.
Got a custom shift knob: Attachment 116761 Attachment 116762 Havent seen any 13s with fog covers yet (maybe b/c theyre a b*tch to get on): Attachment 116763 And I think Im sold on this custom graphic to cover up the seams on my side scoops... Attachment 116764 ...but not sure if I want different text, maybe 302, or maybe none (and not sure about the roof blackout, so havent pulled the trigger yet)... ...matched up with an RTR-like hood graphic, but with thicker stripes inline with the hood vents (instead of painting them)... Attachment 116765 ...and probably a WMS CAI... Attachment 116766 ...plus a GT500 front bumper... Attachment 116767 ...so I can wire up lower fogs in a blue color (tied to parking lights only) to match this underhood glow... Attachment 116768 ...with some of that stainless, but not all. And already got Borlas... Attachment 116769 ...but want Boss side exits and Intake. That should make it stand apart enough for me. |

Lol, yeah most of that I can do without voiding my warranty, along with suspension upgrades (waiting on RTRs Watts link for starters) and then power adders later in the warranty, but theyre not unique/different.

Thanks Sal, I really appreciate that.
I was a big fan of this ride at the cruise myself (you can't ever really go wrong with Screamin' Yellow and black trim, and the wheels are just perfect :nice: ) http://photos.torchvert.net/Car-Show...Cruise-046.jpg |

Thanks Paul, believe it or not, I've had those wheels for over 4 years and having gone to many car shows and cruise nights in CT and a few Mustang shows at Englishtown, I have yet to see anybody with another set just like them :D

Close, they're FRPP GT500 wheels in black with Nitto 555r tires, 245/45-18 in front, 285/40-18 in back.

Here's our car in March of 2006 when I brought it home from the dealership. It started out as my wife's daily driver.
Attachment 206957 This is after the first round of mods. Attachment 206958 Here is how is sits currently with the Kenne Bell and GT500 body parts. Attachment 206959 Attachment 206960 Attachment 206961 Attachment 206962 Attachment 206963 Attachment 206964 Attachment 206965 Attachment 206966 Sadly, something let loose in the motor last Thanksgiving, and it's been parked ever since! My plans are to have the motor re-built with forged internals by year-end. The engine shop says I should be at around 600hp to the wheels. That should be plenty! :nice: |

FWIW, I bought a new '88 GT and drove it really hard for 3 years. I know, I know, it doesn't have the power of the current V8's, but I got the need for speed out of my system. I topped it out a couple of time.
This one was just a keeper to remind me of my '70 and '88 whenever I want to chill in the garage away from the wifey :-) http://www.mindspring.com/~buckshotb...tang/Pony4.jpg her 06 is 100% stock, she wont let me do anything to it, my 06 has cosmetics only so far- fang shaker hood, 70 mach style stripe, blacked the lower lip/rockers/wing, sequentials, and SHR louvers... of all the stuff ive seen for these cars, IMO the SHR louvers are my #1 choice for changing looks of the car- #2 would be a shaker hood, just always loved that old black aluminum scoop :) eventually the 09 will get them too...hopefully. |
Got some pics?

lots of pics, but they are just plain old mustangs...the few cosmetic things on the 06 dont hold a candle to most of the cars on this site...the black one on the second page of this thread with the flatblack stripe is a favorite, as is MTAS's car- havent seen pics of his in a while, but love the way it sits
