My experience has told me that you will do OK for a while. Eventually you will start to miss it. Next thing you know, you will be rolling down your window everytime you see one just to hear the V8.
Good Luck, hope to see you back soon.

The thought of having to do such a thing just makes me cringe! I'll be leaving mine to my Son (or maybe a Grandson with a little luck) once I head to the big racetrack in the sky.

Cal's part of the family
Wow! Letting go of a nice Mustang would be oh so painful, unless of course you were just upgrading to a newer one! I have a 30 year old son that builds high performance Mustangs down in Florida. Currently doing a black 2002 GT coupe with turbo mod. He was back home last summer and test drove the Calstang. He said. "Dad in stock form, this new S197 chassis is so much more to start with than the earlier generations". He remarked on just how solid the whole thing felt and was really impressed with it's power, torque abilities and crazy fast top end for a stocker"! Yes, unless the Calstang is wrecked or destroyed, he will be the new owner of this GT/CS, when I'm all gone! And he will love working on Cal as I do. Because of what I shared with him about all this crazyness, back when he was a young man in high school. What a wonderful thing, these great Mustangs we do so love! That they can continue a bond with a father and his son for all their lifes!!
