Picked mine up yesterday. The first time I drove it was when I left the dealer ( I had test driven other GT autos). dog gone, driving this car is so much better than I expected. I put 185 miles on it in my first day! The dealer forgot to put on the temp plate and I drove for about 20 minutes with no plate and driving pretty recklessly at that.
GOFISCH, you are right, the gray interior looks great with all the black and satin accents.
I only did like 1/3 of the check-list I prepared, everything was great.
The only thing I missed was that the emblem on the back/trunk doesn't have "GT" in it, its the mustang. Maybe this makes it unique? I'm calling the dealer to find out what's up.
All you vert guys with the active-alarm, did you know the active-alarm does not work with the top down? Confirmed it in the manual. I guess the motion sensor would pick up stuff going on outside the car.

I have knocked off some mods off my list already. In one week i have put sequentail tail lights,.Painted calipers, Hood shocks, an Ipaq gps, painted and clearcoated Mustang kick plate and replaced crappy rear speakers whith the upgraded door speakers (thanx to Mark)
Next week she goes in for painted stripes, hood pins.
In the near future,(couple of weeks) doing the shorty headers and magnaflows.
Oh and less we not forget that 3d carbon boy racer hood I have on the go (whenever it gets finished welding).
BTW, Thanx Leslie. The silver and red combo add a little class to it.

Don't forget to post some pics.
As for the alarm, i had the top up, windows down and somehow the car was armed.
2am i forgot something in the car so went in the garage , stuck my hand through the window and BEEP BEEP BEEP. Scared the poo poo out of me. Those sensors are great.

There is no link. A friend at my dealership opened my eyes to the speaker configuration.
The door has a 2way and a sub. the rear has a one way 25w low grade speaker.
I ordered a pair of 2 way doors speakers and placed them in the rear.
Sounds a whole lot better at high volume. The 25w ones distort , these ones don't.

I received my Windveil Blue beauty two weeks ago and it is doing great. I have not had any complaints or problems. BTW GOFISCH, where did you get the Mequires NXT? I am looking for a good protectant for the top.
Hope this pic comes through.

http://www.meguiars.com/store_meguiars/index.cfm Its working really well. Make sure you don't put too much on. I put my roof down and when I put it back up some of the NXT was on the window. It won't hurt it, just had to clean the window again.
moze, the color combo is awesome. I'm glad I got the spoiler delete.

ERL tells me as of April 19 my vert has shipped by convoy
I'm positively giddy.
This represents a number of firsts for me:
First car ordered, first vert; first red car; first muscle car; first Mustang
ordered: 2/12
serial: 3/24
build: week of 4/18
shipped by convoy: 4/19
at dealer: He says by May 1
under my seat: Not soon enough
