Warranty about to expire, what to get checked?
Hey guys,
My wonderfully faithful and problem free GT has been putting on some serious miles in the last year or so, and I'm now about 300 miles from my warranty expiration. I was wondering if there is anything I should try to get done at the dealer before that happens? So far the only thing I need to get looked at or replaced is my front right headlamp, which has condensation in it, and maybe some minor creeking from the right side of the suspension.
I change my own oil and filter, I'm about to change my fuel filter, not worried about the intake system as I recently cleaned my JLT and throttle body. Just recently had it in the collision center because my fiance backed into it (another story) and they pretty much repaired every scratch on the car, so the body looks good. Anything you guys think I should get done to it before I run the 300 miles off?
Thanks!

Do you have leather seats? Are they worn? I hear you're allowed to replace them exactly once under warranty for being worn.
Warranty
If it were me, I'd ask the dealer what their position would be on a plug change. Sometimes, a dealer will perform a plug change while the car is still in warranty, sometimes they won't. I would be curious if they put new plugs in, and you just paid for the plugs & normal labor. IF they break any plugs, will they cover the cost of removing any broken plugs under warranty? Some will, some won't. Might be worth at least asking.
Good info, I ran by there today, leaving the car tomorrow as I am going out of town for the weekend. Adam's advice is the best! I will ask about spark plugs and suspension as well, thanks guys!

you would be smart if you have an 05 to get the fuel pump changed; tell them you get the hesitation after a long cruise (in a tsb); i actually had this problem and almost got killed once when i pulled out to pass; also, i didnt put too many miles on mine and didnt show up until well into the third year of ownership; only takes about an hour to fix. well worth it;
I would buy and extended warranty and be essentially worry free for 3 or 4 more years.
