Just spoke to the dealer who is helping me out with the drop shipment from ISELLFORD and the car is in but he is at an auction all day today. so I will wait till tomorrow and most likely not be able to take it till after work and go get it at lunch hahahaha. Once the entire process is complete I will post about my entire ordeal including the outstanding service from ISELLFORD. But for now I sit here at work pretending I can focus and that I am not scouring the boards for all sorts of mods hahahahahahaha

Make sure your dealership understands how unhappy you will be if he does not keep your car safe from the general public before you can pick it up.

That's the main concern I have if my car comes in a couple of days before I can get it.

Getting your insurance all lined up ahead of time is another good idea. I have already passed onto them my VIN so all I need to do is call them as soon as my salesman calls me!

All the insurance company needs is your VIN? I called the insurance company and they told me I can't get insurance until I actually pay for the car.

This is a company you're already dealing with? I'm with State Farm. All it takes is a phone call with the discription of the vehicle, the VIN, what coverage choices I want and I'm covered for up to 14 days without paperwork or $$$. In the case of the new Mustang they DO want to know the day I pick it up/pay for it. But it will be covered the moment I take the keys.

I just did this with a truck I bought from a friend. Before he drove it down to my house for us to complete the deal, I called it in and had it covered. But I've been dealing with the same agent for 7 years, too.
