Mine came in by last Wednesday, October 27. It was ordered on June 1 and bucked on July 1. It carries a sequence number of 2117.

GT Deluxe in Mineral Grey w/Dark Charcoal, IUP and auto trans, Bullitt wheels.

Does anybody know whether the sequence number is just Mustangs or does it include Mazdas too since they're built on the same line?
I ordered the same car but with 5 speed. How do you like the color? Any regrets with ext/int matchups? I have seen 02's in min.grey that look great, but some 03 explorers in min. grey look taupish. thanks for your help [/b][/quote]
Frank,

No regrets at all! There is more brown in the color than I expected but it matches the Bullitt wheels very well and I'm quite satisfied.

I've provided many pictures and comments on the Florida thread that can be accessed from the current 6th main page. The thread title is as follows:

Any Floridians out there (Pages 1 2 3 ...6 )

The comments and pix start on p. 5 of that thread and flow over to p.6.

Good luck, Chris

Sorry for the question that might be obvious to others....

Are you all talking about the last 4 numbers of the vin?

If so what does that mean exactly... if my last 4 numbers are 1037

If mine is 1037 does that mean it was the 1037th 05GT built?
Your number 1037 is actually the last 4 digits of the line sequence number (101037) that is the last 6 digits of your VIN.

The line actually starts at 100001 so yours is the 1,037th vehicle off the Auto Alliance production line for 2005 production. This number normally includes all vehicles produced there. So it's not just GTs but includes V6 cars as well. It may also (shudder) include Mazdas since the Mazda 6 is also built on the AAI line.

My earlier post (about) half-way down pg. 1 raised that last question but nobody has responded to it yet.

In all likelihood we'll never actually know exactly where our Mustangs falls in the Mustang only count!
