Now this is more like it!!!

I'm all over this because it is subscription free!!!

Dealer-installed option available nationwide on nearly every 2008 model year Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicle
HD Digital Radio(tm) can be installed on most currently-owned vehicles built in model years 2005, 2006 and 2007

I noticed that the Interior Upgrade Package has a new name, the Premium Interior, which includes the message center but doesn't say anything about the MYCOLOR "toy". Will MYCOLOR be included in the Premium Interior Package or has MYCOLOR seen its last days in the mustang.

So the 64E wheels are only available on the "base" GT, eh? That's a shame; I like the fanblades. Oh well. I'm a little surprised that Ford hasn't seen fit to give the automatic a Tiptronic/Steptronic/Touch Shift/AutoStick/Driver Shift Control feature, especially since the Challenger has one, and the Camaro will most likely have one as well.

You may see this in the 2010 car. No need for the 2009 as this year's car is a very short run.

The last day for "Orders Due", as the sheet here at work says, is April 11, 2008. Last week of build for 2008s is the week of May 23, 2008.

I don't understand why anyone would bother with HD radio. The programming will be the same lowest common denominator, commercial overloaded crapola that's on AM & FM today.

I didnt put any money down, but my salesman said he placed a order to the factory for a mustang the way i want it... how long could it take to get a response back that they recieved the order and for a vin # ? He said he placed the order, but I don't have a way of checking to find out for sure so I have doubts til I get some kind of reasurance. Any info would be helpful thx

Be happy to answer this for ya. The scheduling begins on the 17th, so you could have a VIN number pretty soon (week or 2), especially if your is the 1st 2009 they ordered. In terms of proof they ordered it, when you ordered the car, you can ask the salesperson for a DORA (Dealer Order Recipt Acknoledgement). This is the print out that shows the factory received the order, and shows your Priority Number. Whenever I order a car for anyone, I send the customer a copy of this to the customer, so they know I did place the order, and the factory has it. If you have any questions on the order process, feel free to ask. Be glad to help.

Angry

an i shot myself now or the sales guy who said he placed a order for me a month ago! and I had doubts he did, well i bet i was right. It doesnt take over a month to find out from ford that its balanced out! My sales guy sat on his *** and told me he placed the order and didnt til last minute when i call him to see whats up cause i havent heard back from him since. Few days later i get an email that its balanced out! Then today I call dealerships to see if they can place an order for me and i am being told the last day to order a 08 was yesterday! So i am screwed or forced to buy one of a lot that has waaay more options then i want to pay for or not the ones i want.
