No more Deluxe. Always thought Deluxe and Premium would seem confusing to the average buyer. They both sounded like fully featured (loaded) packages.

 

Ford's use of 'DeLuxe' goes back at least to the Model A In fact as I recall it is a made up word of Ford Marketing from back then.

Originally it denoted the top of the line, then in 1941 Ford introduced "Super DeLuxe" as top of the line, using 'DeLuxe' for the lesser model version.

 

sounds like no changes of any substance in 09. I thought at least a six speed, sync or other new options. I guess Ford is a little light on the engineering for Mustangs these days..

I see that the Mustang still does not have stability control... perhaps that will happen in the 2010 MY.

Prices won't be out for a few months, at my best guess. As for ordering? You can actually place an order now. The order banks opened up on Monday. Just don't have pricing for the car yet.

 

Did the gt500 always have a 3.31 rearend? i thought it was 3.55 before...
