Very releaved after a year of waiting
I know this topic has been covered...at great lenth....however, my situation is somewhat unique. I just returned from a year in Korea and will be picking up my mustang Saturday. I have yet to see a tungsten colored mustang or the red interior until today (both options ordered by yours truly.) I based my decisions entirely on pictures and opinions on this forum. I must say I am quite happy with my choices after seeing the car in person. I do not see any purple hue in the tungsten regardless of angle, sunlight, shadow, etc. I spent the better part of an hour looking at tungten mustangs (annoyed my wife immensely). I was very worried that I was buying a purple car. I was also worried about the red interior being a very bright red. It seems more like redfire than bright red which is good with me. It looks incredible with tungsten.
I've been waiting a year to be with my family and to enjoy this new car. I have not driven the GT yet so I expect to be just as happy with the performance as well.
Good things do come to those who wait and I would like to thank everyone on this forum for the valuable information and honest opinions.

I ordered the GT premium
500 shaker (1000 didn't seem worth it)
side air bags
spoiler delete
fanblade rims (already thinking about deepdish bullits)
alarm
pretty much all options except shaker 1000 (going after market)

I hope you really enjoy your car! We probably did give "honest" opinions, but -we're all bias!

Congrats. My wife ordered my Vista Blue/Parchment GT vert for me in June while I was in Iraq. My year ended in September: still no vin number much less a build date. Consider yourself lucky that your car was there when you got home. BTW, if your enlistment is up, don't reup or you'll end up in the Raq. It's no fun there. Enjoy your ride. Best of luck
