the vent controls are no longer vacuum- they now have little motors and a feedback pot or switch...I'd look for a blown fuse first, then check into controls. Ive never noticed, but I would think if everything else is shut off you might be able to hear the actusator servos working...test your selector for all modes, see if any might not be working, I think there is three control motors if I remember right- long ago I was considering splicing some resistors in the feedback so the floor vents would actually work in the winter(dunno if later models corrected, but 05/06 so much heat goes out the defroster your feet will freeze). I only drove a few dry cold winter days, so kinda forgot about it though.

il be sure to check that but its not like the fan is stuck on. its almost like the vents are stuck open. when i am standing still nothing comes through, but the faster i go the more air comes through the vents. is there a door or something that is stuck open?
