V8 Deluxe v. Premium
No love loss without a trip computer, the 50 miles to empty insanity sequence until it runs dry(70-75miles later) is not worth being able to get a plethora of inaccurate information at your fingertips. You would think the entire space station was going to blow up if you drive it until the needle gets to the white line. BEEP BEEP BEEP You now have 34 miles to total destruction...BEEP BEEP BEEP.
It really, really sucks when you can do 4 or 5 days to work with a quarter tank.
Good point Kevin! I have no love for the 2 extra dummy gauges either. My dash consists of the fuel gauge, coolant temp gauge, tach, speedometer, and an LED/VFD odometer / trip odometer. I switch between the odometer and trip odometer by pushing down the stalk once. If I want to reset the trip odometer, I hold down the stalk. This is the first car I've owned that has an electronic odometer. On my 00 Vic, I have to push the stalk and hold it in to make sure the rollers don't spin up by 0.5 miles. LOL.
If Ford didn't include the alloy pedal covers, I would have ordered the Sport appearance package but with light graphite/dove, the carpeting would have been black/dark charcoal. Dark carpets always look more "dirty" than light colored carpets.

I have played with the fuel used and when I fill up it seems to be quite accurate on my car, very close to the amount I put in.
The one I find myself using the most is the timer so I can tell how long I have been aimlessly driving the back roads.
