v6 intake upgrade question/help

I'm buying an intake kit and tuner for my 06 v6. Should I get a C&L intake kit or ford racing. The C&L is made of cast aluminum vs the ford racing made by High Density Polyethylene. I prefer the ford racing look I think but I like the cast aluminum, so I guess I'll base it down to performance. Which would perform better? Just because the C&L is more expensive, does it make it better?

I have the Ford Racing CAI with performance tune, but the C&L is also an awesome unit, but I'm not sure what tune he uses on his kits!! Mine used the factory intake tube.

I'd suggest the high density polyethylene tubes, unless you live in a cool climate, or if you have a lot of Billet goodies under the hood ...

just a cleaner install IMO, with less heat transfer.
