19X11 HRE P40/V710/RTR STYLE WHEEL CONTENT INSIDE!!!!
“19X11” HRE P40/ V710/ RTR STYLE WHEEL CONTENT!!!!
I’ve been talking to a vendor for a few days now in regards to bringing a 19x11 HRE P40 style wheel to market.
They have the mold already available in 19x9.5 and in 19x11 with the correct bolt pattern but would need an adjustment in the offset department since they are very aggressive.
Getting a wheel molded in the correct offset should not be an issue if the interest in there.
This poll is intended to find out how many people would be interested in a set like this.
The more people that show interest the better it is for this particular wheel size to become reality.
Please subscribe to this tread if you're interested in a set, also feel free start a new thread in any other Forum linking it to this post.
The weight should be the same as the other replicas that are out there.
Fitment: S197 GT500/Mustang GT/V6 2005-2011
Colors availability would be in: Hyper Silver and Matte Black.
For illustration purposes:

Matte Black:

I'm not sure a wheel of this size will do us much good. You can't get tires that will be usefull on a 11 inch wide wheel. There are plenty of 285/35/19 tires but they will looked stretched , there is only one 295/35/19 tire and thats a BFG KDW tire which is an ok tire. Nobody makes a 305/35/19 or 315/35/19 tire, you could use a corvette Z06 sized tire but I'd bet you'd get some serious rubbing with a tire that wide.
Well I voted I would buy it because I bought TSW Nurburgring wheels which are are 19x9.5" and look very similar and are pretty light for a 19" wheel

I see your point of the limited tire selection until you go into a 315 which I disagree about having issues in fitment or rubbing. Take for example the many people whom have ran 315’s on 10” wheel which tend to have lots of sidewall bulge but yet have no issues. The way that this work is by having the correct offset and back spacing, also take note that a well known speed shop offers a 20x11 which I’m sure they’ve sold countless them.
Here’s a shot of a 335 on 11" wheel granted it's a Nitto :P
A 295 on a 10” has the same section width as if it where on a 11” wheel which is about 11.6” give or take a few, the extra inch would accommodate the tire for a better fit with the option to go wider for those that want it..

20x11's work because we can get 305 and 315 sized tires, by Z06 corvette sizes I mean 325/30/19 and 345/30/19. That picture is of a 305/35/20 tire which would work great on a 19x11 if we could get that sized tire. While there are 305/30/19 tires out there they are nearly an inch shorter than what we are looking for.
BTW I agree that 19x10 or perhaps 19x10.5 would be best, hell if you can make a 19x11 happen I guess I will be running stretched 285/35 tires for my GT500

Definitely not a 305 on a 20" had to dig deep for this one check out the date.

OK, Here's some comparisons considering that whom ever run this size wheel would need to be lowered.
285's would be a stretch, 295's would fit well, 305 would also fit well besides the overall diameter which would be around 26.3, 315's would definitely be to short. 325's have a section width of 12.9-13.2 depending on brand and have the best over all diameter.
Here's some other shots of another 335 on a 11"
Here's a 19x11.5 with 325/30/19

I'm not scared. Just known what has worked for me in the past, and you asked who would be interested in buying these wheels. So, just sharing what would actually get me to put my money where my mouth is

Thats what Im leaning towards also.
Pricing should be no where near as high as the P40 since those are Custom forged and command that kind of money.
I think pricing should be more in line with whats out there already, for reference the V710s are about $1000 and the RTRs are $1200 and those are 19x9.5.
Production would be very limited only one batch = 60 sets would be made if I cant get enough interest.

I saw these while browsing the 4 sale add's.
Again here's another example of what fitment would look like if someone where to go to the extreme.
19x11 on a 325/30/19.

Beautiful wheel style. I wish I could have found that style in a 20" a few months ago. For the time being I bought and am very happy with the fit of the Steeda Spider wheels in 20".
