Two year Anniversary on my Vert

Well I hit the two year old mark on my Vert this month. I have 13,423. miles on it. What a fun car (when I am home to enjoy it).

I still enjoy it as much as when it was new. We are taking it to Zion's National Park this weekend to cruise the 80 degree weather with the top down.

Here is a picture of it in Zion's National Park last spring.

Man, two years and 13k miles? I am impressed at your self-discipline!

I've had mine 18 months and she has 23k miles!

Another Picture

I never drive it unless the weather is dry and it stays covered even in the garage. Sometimes it is a hassle to uncover it but we do drive it quite a bit but around town and such.

We have two other vehicles so we can relagate the Vert to top down drives only. If you can't put the top down why drive it.

In December we put the Ford Racing Suspension on it and it is now lower.

Rides like a logging truck but corners like a go cart.

I was wondering about that. Would you go as far as to say you don't really like the ride with the FR suspension pieces, but like the handling?

The ride is very stiff compared to what it was. I am getting used to it but it is rough.

It looks good lowered and all but sometimes I wish I hadn't changed out the factory suspension.

mine also is coming up on 2 years old with 7100 miles; this is a picture when new; added borla stingers, engine covers and brace since then.

You vehicle look sweet - I particularly like how you striped the top of the windshield area. I don't know if this is common for a vert with stripes, but it looks great.

Have you thought about getting your mirrors painted white? Not the stick on deal - but actually painted at a body shop? I think the factory mirrors look terrible, but my car is black and it mitigates it some.

Check out my signature photos. The vehicle that sold me on the interior I choose was actually done in blue & white. It looked fantastic.

Looks great. 7100 miles. Must be the cold Nebraska winters. I think the legend lime is the best retro color.

I like the interior. www.newtakeoffs.com has the black vert leather interior taken out of Roush's, (still new for $299.00) I was thinking about buying that and having a shop custom it and then stretch it back on. I would really like a blue insert.
