Hi all,

Just wondering if the trunk supports have any adjustment ? My trunk on the left side is about 1/8" lower all the way along the top, and you can really see it from the back.

Thanks for the input.

The bumper ? Are they adjustable ?

I'm assuming you don't mean the 2 little spring thingy's as that had no affect.

Take it to the dealer. I had the same problem and they made it better - but not perfect yet.

My trunk lid was too high on one side and too low on the other side.

The latch ring mounted to the inside center of the trunk (not the lid) is adjustable. I had the same type of problem. You will have to take off the plastic cowling on the back of the trunk (this is easy). And it may take you a few tries with a ratchet.

Thanks! Very cool, I will check it out.

I never even thought of adjusting that! I had to adjust that on my Taurus too.

Ok I just tried that, it seemed to work quite well. I raised the bracket to it's max height and tightened it up. It's a bit too high on the right side, but you don't even notice now!

Thanks all,

Yes, i noticed this problem as well when adjusting it. The good part is that it moves in all directions. So if it's too high on one end turn the bracket in the direction of that side going down (confusing?) and it should lower it a bit.

I just got really **** about this becuase it's very noticable if it's off on light colored cars.
