Tripmeter issues?
#1
I've noticed that occasionally after getting gas and resetting the tripmeter, it will be reset again when I go to start the car again. So basically, I get gas, reset the meter, drive, park, start the car, and it is at 0.0 miles again. Sometimes it happens after I've driven and parked twice, but it's always soon after resetting the meter. Anyone else experienced this issue? My car has the interior upgrade package as well.

I know for a fact I haven't reset it on accident when it has happened to me. It is always low mileage for me as well, usually under 5 miles because I almost always fill up on the way to work or on the way home.

It happened to me once last month.
I thought maybe I had hit reset again by mistake, but it was exactly as everyone has described. I filled up on the way home, reset the trip, and drove 1/2 mile home. The next morning when I started the car, the trip was 0.0.

Mine has done it once. Now, right after my fill-up, I leave it in mileage // trip mileage display, and it seem to start counting correctly. Seems like a real-time stack error in the computer that calculates these things.

OK, just got back from dealer- they could not duplicate concern, and were unaware of problem. We wondered if over filling tank, even a little, might throw off computer.
