I've noticed that occasionally after getting gas and resetting the tripmeter, it will be reset again when I go to start the car again. So basically, I get gas, reset the meter, drive, park, start the car, and it is at 0.0 miles again. Sometimes it happens after I've driven and parked twice, but it's always soon after resetting the meter. Anyone else experienced this issue? My car has the interior upgrade package as well.

It happened to me this morning. I have just turned 1000 miles. I filled up near work and reset the trip meter. When I got home it read about 6.5 miles. This morning it had reset itself to 0.0. Now I don't recall accidentally resetting it, and I am 99.9% sure I didn't play with the setup and info buttons. Didn't really think about it untill you brought it up!

I know for a fact I haven't reset it on accident when it has happened to me. It is always low mileage for me as well, usually under 5 miles because I almost always fill up on the way to work or on the way home.

Press the reset button while the message center is displaying the trip meter and the odometer.

It happened to me once last month.

I thought maybe I had hit reset again by mistake, but it was exactly as everyone has described. I filled up on the way home, reset the trip, and drove 1/2 mile home. The next morning when I started the car, the trip was 0.0.

It happened again! It was reading 6.7 last night and 0.0 this morning! I'll try and go past 10 next time and see what happens.

Happened to me last week. Fill, reset, 1/2-3/4 mile home. Start in the morning to go to work... 0.0 miles.

Trust me, if you had the TSB issue, you would have had a lot more issues filling the tank than 3-4 times within 4,900 miles.

Mine has done it once. Now, right after my fill-up, I leave it in mileage // trip mileage display, and it seem to start counting correctly. Seems like a real-time stack error in the computer that calculates these things.

OK, just got back from dealer- they could not duplicate concern, and were unaware of problem. We wondered if over filling tank, even a little, might throw off computer.

I have had the same problem with my '06 and took it to the dealer and they are ordering a new odometer and replacing it. I don't know if they duplicated the problem.
