I have hit the rev limiter 3 times. It felt like I missed a gear or something. Very unsettling.
I have had my 05 up to 120mph and could have gone faster but I knew the road was going to get more problematical up ahead. Pulled away from the GM product racing me though.
What is the line? If you can read your speedo, then you are not going fast enough yet?

Sometime in Janurary, after some break-in miles, I'll take it out to a mostly abandoned 4 lane split highway (34 miles long) that I know about and see how far I'll get it.
Fastest I've been in any car on that stretch is 155 in my borther in laws mid 90's 300ZX.

Bone Stock..... I'm trying to remember the year exactly, I think it was a '95, the first year of the last redesign before they killed it temporarily.
Heck... I had my '79 280ZX up to 140 with no problems, and my '66 Fastback went 140 as well. It was a scary experience in those 2 cars, especially the '66....I had crappy bias ply tires on that one, as soon as I hit 140, I backed it down below 100 quickly!
