Tire size...

Do you think I could get away with a 235/55/18 opposed to the stock 235/50/18? Looking to get some snow tires and there are a lot more in 235/55/18.

Thanks!

Hi i did a little checking and a 235/55r18= 28.3" diameter and a 235/50r18= 27.4" diameter. That is the specs for Bridgestone Blizzak tires at tire rack. Hope this helps.

I know, I mean do you think there will be any problem with running them at 55?

Shouldn't be a problem. Your speedometer and odometer will be off by around 3% because of the size difference, but you should be able to change your tuner to compensate for that.

What he said. And "if" you have a tuner. But if not, its still not a huge deal.
