Thread specs

A stupid question for those in the know.
Are the shift ball threads on the 2005+ the same as the threads on the stock SN95?

No they are different on the S197s.

S197 shift ****/handle threads are M12x1.25, SN95 shift ****/handle threads are M12x1.75

If you get the MGW shifter for our cars , they have a shaft with the 1.75 mm threads so you can use the old ***** ...
