My sincere apologies to anyone my thoughtless (but really funny) comments may have offended. have a good day.
Hey, I laugh at nationality jokes. We all need to be able to laugh at ourselves and gently poke fun at others.

Did you hear the one about...?

Yes, more shocking news from the media and NHTSA: Heads in little cars that get
T-boned by SUVs get hammered. No kidding?

It's the side "Head air bag" that is going to help save us from hitting the glass and
then whatever is coming from the side (T-bone). So while watching any side
impact test it should occur to any of us that a side head air bag will keep our
heads from hitting glass and our heads won't 'snap' as far either.

If it's available on any car you buy: Buy it.

Went to the NHTSA website, and found that the 2005 Mustang has what's known as a "combo" side air bag (SAB). They state that:

"Some SABs (called "combination" air bags or "combos") typically deploy from the seatback. They extend upward and provide protection to both the chest and the head."

You can go to http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/ncap/cars/3307.html if you want to see footage of 2005 Mustangs being crash-tested.

I was surprised that State Farm didn't give a discount for passive or active alarms, LoJack or side airbags. But they were still less expensive than other insurers I checked with who do give discounts on them since I have been with State Farm forever and have three other policies with them.
