No offense but that scenario you had in the first post on a Mustang at 20 years old with no prior loans sounds perfectly normal. Your next car will be a piece of cake to finance. It has nothing to do with a dealership. If you bought a certified used Focus it would be a snap.

Thing was I didn't have much of a downpayment. $1k trade in and $700 down for the '07. However I did use all $12k + $350ish down for the '03 Stang, gap insurance, and warranty.

Yeah I know I was just pissed off at the time. I figure now I was learning it the hard way.
