Strange issues going into park

Hey all,

I'm curious if anyone else has this issue. Stock auto trans on an 05 V6. When I shift to park sometimes it misses and I have to slide the shifter back and forth to get it to pop into park. Is this something normal? Has any one else experienced this?

Just a thought, check the linkage bushings. They may be worn a bit. I guessing here as I have a manual, and not sure how the auto shifter is tied to the tranny.
