This is question has probably all ready been asked before but has anyone out there been able to buy a stock cloth 2005 GT with few or no options ?I, ve only seen one listed on Ford dealer ship web site in north b.c. Canada and there doesn,t seem to be any listed on west U.S. dealer sites either?Another brain teaser is it true what blue oval news said about Ford running out of the interior upgrade package telling dealers to offer 18R instead? Has anybody seriously considered taking a plain jane 05 GT if they can get a good deal ?I would just like to wish a late happy new year to everybody!

 

There is a Sonic Blue Deluxe GT in New London CT right now at Whaling City Ford. The only option on the car is the locking wheel nuts, so the MSRP is like $25,050 or so.

Nope, I want the IUP.
So I'll order and wait.

Thought about cloth, then thought ...to heck with it...get leather.
I'm not in a huge rush anyway.

I saw one GT with cloth interior with minimal options on a dealer lot. No IUP and it lasted about one week. It was black and had a manual trans, the GT's are very scarce now on dealers lots no matter what options. But come spring I suspect there will be more. Ford has a major hit on their hands right now. Even fully loaded GT's are only lasting a day or two. Keep looking on the lots and act quickly and you will score one.
