a stock 17" wheel/tire as spare..
#2
I have a stock 18" laying around that I could try. But it is 20 degrees outside and all salty. Not in the mood to empty out my trunk and take the carpet up.
I did measure the spare well a while ago. It would be a tight fit if it works. You need to be able to put a 27" round 235mm spare on a 8-8.5" rim, in place
of I believe a 175mm or so, 25.5" spare, on a 5.5" rim.
In truth, the spare in the car is pretty worthless.
If you install it on the back, the limited slip will be slipping an awfull lot till you can get the tire fixed.

I don't know if you are in an area that gets snow. But if you are, why not just throw snows on the 17"s ??
I would keep em either way. The car will always be worth more with the original rims on hand.
