:drive: I drive stick 'cause I love the extra control and involvement.
All three of my ex wives could drive stick, so that couldn't stop them.

My wife wanted to learn to drive my manual 01 V6, but I held off teaching her on it because that was my leverage to the 05 and I didn't want her to have any accidents while she was learning. Now she's totally in love with my black gt that's on the way and the subject has come up again. Now I'm really concerned b/c this one has a lot more horsepower and she has a leadfoot(not that I don't). But I do agree that it's important to know to drive a manual and if she didn't know and that's all she had to drive then she would be stuck. Especially since I take her MDX to Georgia games occasionally and we have a 2 1/2 year old.

I can drive a stick, but I'm getting the automatic. My bad back won't let me drive one anymore. I think a stick would be more fun though.

I am with Nicole... It'll be our own little club.. Chicks with Manual GTs.
Glad you didn't call it "Chicks with sticks".. Sounds like a Jerry Springer episode.

Has anyone beside me ordered their 05 with a Stick, instead of an auto, so their wife/girlfriend wont be able to drive it?
Actually she prefers a stick, she drives a manual F-150.
