I try entering every month. All I get is an error. If it does let me in it says I have already entered and I did not..

Yes, if it says "your email is already subscribed" then you are perpetually (apparently?) entered into the drawing. See post number 3 in this thread by me regarding this, 'cause I get it too.

I do it every month to be sure they haven't cleared the list (which I think they ought to, 'cause people who depart this mortal coil/emails change/whatever) but apparently I'm still in.
