My physics teacher (who is a fan of high-performing vehicles) said to me that the spoiler on the 2005 mustang would come into effect at speeds approximately in excess of 70mph.

What do you all think?

And I love the ducktails.

The spoiler delete also looks incredible with the bullits on a black GT!

Personally, I like the clean look without the spoiler better. Not to knock people who like the spoiler, but it is for looks only. The spoiler isn't a true airfoil shape, so it's not functional, except to add weight and drag. (I know something about aerodynamics from my work at a well known aircraft manufacturing company.)

With that said, it would be nice if it were possible to order a Mustang without the spoiler installed, but still get the spoiler in a separate package... Ford’s not giving a credit for the 'delete option' and it would be nice to have the spoiler if you want to change the look of your car later on.

Would everyone's opinion for no spoiler hold true for verts? Without the fastback less pronounced, does the spoiler give it some needed help?
