Special Socket to Change Plugs?

Simple question. Do we require a special socket or just the standard spark plug one?

a standard one, until they break, then you need a special one to get the broken ones out

Here's the one I use,MAC tools.
You can easily use a 9/16 spark plug socket & an extension, longer the better.

I've read plenty on the breaking issue. Ford deserves to pay out of pocket every time it happens. Maybe if they start losing money because of it they'll fix it. Not that it will help any of us who have bought one already.

Any other surprises on these things? It looks like re-gapping them could be a pain because of the electrode shroud. I guess they wouldn't need adjustment though.

I would think that is true except maybe in forced induction applications.
