Sound deadening

I was wondering if anyone has done this to the majority of the interior or their cars? Im going to order some and was wondering about how much sq. ft. of dynamat, ect. it will take to cover.

Agreed, they have good prices and sell kits to do the whole car. I did a layer of deadening and a layer of foam on top and it made a big difference. Their package #2 should cover the entire cabin, trunk, and doors I believe. I just did the cabin with their Kit #1, and the trunk was already done with a different brand.

Thanks guys. I was going to go with Dynamat, but this Rammat is a heck of a lot cheaper. I dont know what the difference in quality is, dynamat looks to be thicker, but Ill definitely keep this as an option.

I went with Dynamat and really like it. You can get it for pretty cheap from Amazon.com. With the 9 sheets (36square feet) I did all of my doors and trunk; top, bottom and sides. Also did the shifter area. That stopped most outside sound and stopped annoying rattles from the stereo when turned up.

Thanks Glenn. In reference to the second post I am leaning towards the second skin stuff. I used it in the trunk of my old car and really like it. Did you end up ordering that fro your floor boards?
