Remember, up here in MI, almost everyone and their mother gets some discount from FMC, so from what i've heard, theyve been pretty good about giving them to those who ask. I'm going tomorrow to see what the guy says to me when i tell him to price out a GT for a 19 year old whos willing to buy. This could be one interesting story...

Here's a Hunting tale from Central Florida as well.

I have been out hunting a Windveil Blue GT with my Mom, it's the Color she wants! So we went to Rolling Hills Ford in Clermont, Florida (Between Tampa and Orlando) they were supposed to have one but they only had a Torch red GT with IUP and ICAP, and they were asking $5000 "Fair Market Adjustments", over Sticker, I laughed! Then the salesman (a Nice Guy really, but also new) said but if you are really serious that they'd be willing to half the extra five grand. I said thanks but I can wait!

So we went on to Sun State Ford, in Orlando. they had a Fully Loaded Mineral Grey GT, with Parchment interior (Sweet Combo, Extremly Classy!) but they were asking $3000 over MRSP. On top of that they wouldn't even let my Mom test drive it unless she had worked the deal and Signed the Papers? What the....? She said...Uh NO! that's not how she and my dad do Business! Now my Mom's a Mature, Classy, Lady, that drove in in a 2001 Ford F350 Super Duty, Lariat, she drives a Lincoln Mark VII LSC/SE, and was Seriously interested in the car, but they said that they couldn't just let anyone drive it. What? You can't turn away a customer like that. Needless to say they lost a possible deal and she said Buh Bye!

Then we went on to Greenway Ford, also in Orlando (closer to the east side). This is one of those Mega Mall type Dealers and they were very nice and helpful, but didn't have any GT's on the lot, but there was one she could have driven if it wasn't at the Mariot, for a Display. The Salesman even offered to go pick it up for her to test drive it, knowing it wasn't the car she was looking for, but she said no, It's Ok she'd wait to find one she'd be interested in. The salesman said that they were selling them for MRSP and that after Janurary that they'd deal from Invoice.

Brandon Ford has had a ton of GT's come in, several Black ones. They are Selling from MRSP as well and NO "Fair Market Adjustments", but they just havn't gotten in what she wants, and they want a $1000 Non Refundable Deposit to order her one. There is NO Way my Dad will agree to a Non Refundable Deposit, so he said that they'd just wait till the right one came in.

So today, my Mom found a Windveil Blue V6, online at Stedem Ford, in Ft Mead. So we went out to look at it, as she hadn't even seen the Windveil, on an 05 Stang. It is a Beautiful color, and definitely the color she wants, but she just can't live with the V6, and after seeing it with the Charcoal interior knows for sure that she wants Light Graphite, Leather. So we talked to their Manager and he said he'd order her Exactly what she wants, All they want is to work up the deal, and take a refundable deposit. He also said that they were dealing at Sticker but that in Febuary that they'd probably be willing to deal from invoice.

Needless to say she thinks she's gonna wait till after the first of the year now, or at least till late December (her Bithday is right before Christmas) and Order what she want's, unless it just happens to come in at a dealer near us, if so it might turn up under the Christmas Tree.

i wish you the best of luck tampabear67 i know we all have a love for these cars here. One thing is for sure unless you want to further increase the size of your Ulcer dont go to Suncoas Ford in port richey i wanted to look outside the dealership and reconfirm i was at a car lot because no one there seemed to want to sell a car. I even had the marketing guy listening in on our heated conversation and he walked out privately with us and told us how sorry he felt for us and how we were treated....oh well that was along 200 mile round trip give or take tonight...all for nothing
